About the Species
It has a distinctive white face and forehead which inspired their name, because “bles” is the Afrikaans word for “bold”. They are one of the fastest breeding plains game species in Southern Africa.

Habitat
Blesbok can be found in open veld or plains of South Africa and Namibia. Their preferred habitat is in open grassland, with access to water.
