Hunting In South Africa with Pronk Hunting Safaris
For us it is much more than just the hunt, it's the complete experience. You will be treated to the most beautiful and pristine hunting areas within South Africa that will take your breath away. Whether it is your first trip to South Africa, or if you are an experienced hunter, Pronk Hunting Safaris can cater for all your needs.
You will be greeted at the airport by your outfitter or professional hunter and help you go through the process of obtaining the necessary permits for your firearms. Depending on the time that your flight arrived, we either spend the first evening at our arrival lodge or we go directly to the lodge where we will be conducting the hunting safari. Your professional hunter will accompany your throughout the safari to ensure that you are well looked after.
Your morning will start early with a warm coffee, tea or juice of your choice with rusks, cereal and a full farm-style breakfast. While enjoying your early breakfast the fully equipped hunting vehicles are loaded by the team and the necessary checks are done to make sure we have everything we need for the days hunting.
After breakfast we head out for the morning hunt and start looking for your dream trophy. Depending how far away we are from basecamp, a pre-packed lunch will be served or we have a traditional "braai" (barbecue) in the bush, else we return and have lunch at the lodge.
After relaxing for the afternoon we head out again to hunt. Just before sunset we return to enjoy a cold beer or soft drink in the boma while dinner is being prepared for us. The next morning the fun starts again…
Our accommodation varies from luxurious to very comfortable depending on your requirements, needs and budget. The accommodation is located on the land where we hunt or nearby the hunting area. The length of your African Hunting Safari, the area you wish to hunt and the list of trophies are determined by you.
