About the Species
The caracal is a large cat with black tufted ears, creamy underbelly and long legs. It is a superb climber and can ofter be found in trees when taking refuge.
About the Hunt
Caracal hunting is very exiting and happens fast. In some parts of the country, they are hunting using hounds or by bating a site.
Habitat
They are mainly nocturnal animals and rarely found in the day. On rare occasions, they can be found very early in the morning or late afternoons.
